Welcome to the custom photography of Cathy Martin.  Ms. Martin is a self taught  photographer who has spent the last twenty years honing her skills .  A computer programmer by profession she relocated to eastern North Carolina in 1983 where she pursued photography mostly on weekends. For the past seven years she has devoted all of her time to her passion.

Cathy uses still images to record things loved by children and adults alike such as lighthouses, beach scenes, numerous types of animals and landscapes.  Her photographs create fond and serene memories of our world's simple beauties.

Cathy supplies various lighthouse photos to "Carolina Clips" a project developed by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction North Carolina k-12 students and educations use these photos for educational purposes. 

Martin also spends considerable energy studying still life and capturing images in art deco and retro formats.  Her work is well respected and is currently on display in multiple venues across Eastern and Central North Carolina.
